12 volt appliances that draw power from a vehicle lighter socket are underpowered and perform poorly. This is because lighter sockets use light gauge wiring and were never designed to power accessories that draw high amperage. Our 50 amp fused power strip uses heavy 8-gauge wiring and connects directly to your battery for full access to it′s electrical potential.
